Introduction. Needle biopsy, including core needle biopsy (CNB) and vacuum-assisted breast (VABB) with or without radiological support) is the initial investigative method of choice for preoperative diagnosis lesions. Ultrasound-guided VABB (US-VABB) has become widely accepted because its high accuracy. In this review, diagnostic performance indices CNB were compared US-VABBB techniques.
